This is the most important topic you will read about. This isn't happening in some far distant future. It is happening now. And there are powerful people and organizations which do not want you to be aware of what is going on until it is too late. The information below is what we should be discussing with family and friends and calling our elected officials about. This is our immediate future.

Yet do we not, as a culture, respond to the baser callings of our nature and gather together in the dark, as our distant ancestors did, to commune in story and lend voice to our fears? Do we not seek the artistic expression of what we fear most, and (from the safety of our seats), delight and thrill in the terror of what might be? As any storyteller who communicates truth, I can lead you to the darkest recesses of your imagination. We know this feeling, and love it. Yet I will remove the safety net of make-believe, and reveal to you the MOST frightening thing — that the Gray State is not a product of MY imagination — it is a product of yours.
You know this can happen.
The GRAY STATE Project was an idea created in 2010 by army vet (of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars) and film producer David Crowley. It was theory turned into a prediction. A warning meant to be made into a film. David Crowley ultimately died because of his vision.
If we are being honest, Gray State isn't really a new idea except for one thing. Gray State wasn't just the idea of a far off future — a prediction of possible future events. When I called it an idea, maybe that was a bit erroneous on my part. Gray State was always about a choice — our choice. If Black State was the New World Order and White State was a truly free nation, then Gray State would be that place in-between. It would be the precipice of two different destinies. One of our own choosing and another which would be forced upon us. "By consent or conquest," we stand at the abyss of what our nation and this world would be.
Last night I dreamt about how things were and then I woke up here.
David Crowley was wrong when he said "You know this can happen." It isn't that this could happen. It is happening. Gray State wasn't some far off prediction. It is here. Now. Every news story relates to it. Our daily lives are changing because of it. We are currently at that precipice headed towards the abyss. This is a train headed at full speed towards the end of the line.
There is just one thing. The choice has always been ours.
On one side, we have those effectively pushing towards the Black State. On the other, we have those fighting desperately to create a White State. And we have those who are caught in-between. These are the ones who hope for a better tomorrow but are afraid of acting due to perceived consequences to that action. They are the ones who are blissfully unaware of the precarious state we are in. They are the ones who love and fear and hope for a better outcome.
If fear dictates your decisions today, then your fear will also define your future. If you are looking to maintain your current state, to slide by unnoticed, then the best victory you can hope for is to maintain the status quo. There is no better future guaranteed. No better outcome. To myself and others, the status quo isn't a victory but an utter defeat and loss.
We must fight back.

What is the GRAY STATE? Read David Crowley's own words...
The world reels with the turmoil of war, geological disaster, and economic collapse, while Americans continue to submerge themselves in illusions of safety and immunity. While rights are sold for security, the federal government, swollen with power, begins a systematic takeover of liberty in order to bring about a New World Order.
Americans, quarantined to militarized districts, become a population ripe for tyrannical control.
Fear mongering, terrorism, police state, martial law, war, arrest, internment, hunger, oppression, violence, resistance - these are the terms by which Americans define their existence. Neighbor is turned against neighbor as the value of the dollar plunges to zero, food supplies are depleted, and everyone becomes a terror suspect. There are arrests. Disappearances. Bio attacks. Public executions of those even suspected of dissent. Even rumors of concentration camps on American soil.
This is the backdrop to an unfolding story of resistance. American militias prepare for guerilla warfare. There are mass defections from the military as true Patriots attempt to rally around the Constitution and defend liberty, preparing a national insurgency against federal forces, knowing full well this will be the last time in history the oppressed will be capable of organized resistance.
It is a time of transition, of shifting alliance, of mass awakening and mass execution. It is an impending storm, an iron-gray morning that puts into effect decades of over-comfort and complacency, and Americans wake up to an occupied homeland. It is a time of lists. Black list, white list, and those still caught in the middle, those who risk physical death for their free will and those who sell their souls to maintain their idle thoughts and easy comforts. It is in this Gray State that the perpetuation of human freedom will be contested, or crushed.
Is it the near future, or is it the present? The Gray State is coming — by consent or conquest. This is battlefield USA.

THE LINES ARE DRAWN BUT WHICH SIDE WE'RE ON IS CHOSEN FOR US
Do you really want to die without making a sound? Either stand now or kneel forever.
I believe that his message was intended for a different crowd — the veterans, the enlisted service men and women, the police officers and sheriffs, the people working in the government agencies. It wasn't a call to arms for us. It wasn't even a call to arms for them. It was a wakeup call. Pure and simple. Stand now and make a sound.
I am going to divert a bit here and talk about one of my favorite films — Kingdom of Heaven. Or more specifically one of my favorite scenes that I feel supports that wakeup call.
The message here is clear. You are the sole person responsible for your own actions.
A king may move a man. A father may claim a son. That man can also move himself. And only then does that man truly begin his own game. Remember that howsoever you are played or by whom, your soul is in your keeping alone, even though those who presume to play you be kings or men of power. When you stand before god you cannot say but I was told by others to do thus or that virtue was not convenient at the time. This will not suffice. Remember that.
It is not enough to be commanded or ordered to take an action. There is also your choice to follow such commands and such orders. You alone have to live with the consequences of those actions. You alone will be judged by them. Remember that. Your soul is in your own keeping.
It is not those in power who carry out evil deeds even though they may be the ones who order them. It is the man behind the badge or the man in a uniform. Without you, those orders are meaningless. Without you, those orders do not come to fruition. You alone are the power behind such things. Protect your fellow man. Protect the helpless. What is lawful isn't necessarily moral.
WHILE WE WERE SLEEPING
The movie Gray State portrays a very real possible series of events and outcomes that could dramatically affect the welfare and lives of every American.
While we see and hear a smattering of what is currently going on within the US Government today, you can be assured that it is highly filtered and communicated with the right "spin" and in very small doses — to make it all sound logical and palatable. For example, if you watch carefully, you will note that major policy changes and announcements are often timed to coincide with other big "breaking news" — designed to distract and dilute the impact.
What's even more chilling is not what makes the headlines, but rather what DOESN'T make the headlines — by design!
Gray State suggests a scenario that could easily happen given the current circumstances and conditions in the US. Creeping government control of nearly everything including our food supplies is extremely dangerous to our liberty and freedom. Much of this process takes place out of sight and therefore out of mind of the general US population. The media is complicit in this process.
Gray State seeks to portray this activity in a realistic and compelling manner. Often films of this genre tend to "go over the top" with scare tactics and unrealistic scenes that evoke a response of "that could never happen" from viewers. As a result, they fail to meet their objectives of communicating a critical message or warning.
This is not the case with Gray State.
Gray State has a message that needs to be communicated to a very broad spectrum of Americans. The full story of Gray State needs to be told.

Except, the film was never made. David Crowley was murdered before the film could ever be produced. He was in a $30 million contract negotiation with the producers when this occurred. His death, as well as the deaths of his wife and child, were officially labeled a suicide/murder.
From David Crowley's Journal dated Sunday, June 29, 2014 at 9:50 PM:
But I got what I came for, hell yes. I demanded a contract and got one that night. I got all my demands an I'm prepared to fight for what I deserve in the contract.
Impressed the shit out of them, I think. The doubts will return when I go home, but leave this as a record: there's nothing to indicate that this isn't the real deal and we will move forward resolutely to victory. By victory I mean up and out of MN an into a place where things happen and move.

What was the plan for the GRAY STATE Concept Trailer?
FREEDOM. STRENGTH. UNITY.
This film is an extremely ambitious independent project being shot in the Twin Cities, Minnesota. Following the many models of success film has for projects made outside of the Hollywood system, Gray State is seeking the funding it needs before plunging into production.
Gray State was conceived in November of 2010 by David Crowley and Danny Mason. The scale and nature of the material indicated that not only did they have an obligation to craft a human story out of the morass, but they had an obligation to tell it properly, far from the typical financial hang-ups that have become the convention for independent film. They began the process by first developing the narrative through months of slow revisions, and then in the summer of 2011, forged ahead with shooting a concept trailer.
WHEN SOCIETY FALLS THOSE WHO PANIC DIE FIRST
Many films that have particular visuals or unique plotlines first invest in concept material that can be used as a tool to gather funding from interested parties. Gray State is no different. What WAS different was the unanticipated explosion of interest Gray State gathered from the local film community who participated in the shoot. This buzz spawned throughout the area via word of mouth, steam-rolling into an unprecedented movement of interest that has already reached national attention in some circuits, and this was before the concept trailer was even released.
The filmmakers have barely been able to control the hype, and now, over a year since the shoot, they are finally ready to release the trailer and begin the national campaign to gather the funding they need to push this extremely popular concept into a brilliant and commercially viable feature film.
Thousands of films, even the ones that reach production, never see the light of day through various failings of the filmmakers to market, promote, and distribute the films. Thousands more filmmakers sit on projects that are never even made, having no marketable tools to show that A) their film is a good idea, and B) that they can pull it off. The Gray State team fully intends to harness the amazing capabilities of the MN film community and prove that they can beat Hollywood at its own game - first, through showing a concept trailer.
During our first IndieGoGo Crowdfunding Campaign , which ran from 8 August 2012 to 8 October 2012, the team traveled the country, did a few dozen radio shows, and got the word out internationally with the help of a growing fan base. As a result, over $61,000 was raised for the project.
This funding will be used to assemble a professional investor proposal and business plan to secure additional funding, purchase a script breakdown, and push the project into the preproduction stages.
How was GRAY STATE being received?
In the course of this project, from conception in 2010 to David Crowley's death at the end of 2014, 6 separate scripts were drafted and 3 different trailers were made. Here are 3 of those scripts:
In order to garner more attention for the movie (which was being negotiated into a TV series), a documentary was in production and days away from being released before David Crowley died.

GRAY STATE was the name of the movie that was never produced. GRAY STATE: THE RISE was the documentary that was being produced in order to hype the GRAY STATE franchise. And it was going to be a franchise. People were talking about it.

Again, David Crowley died days before the GRAY STATE: THE RISE documentary was released. The rough uncut version was produced. However, David Crowley was a list maker. He made lots of notes. His notes were never followed in the final production and cut of the film as they were in police custody as evidence following his and his family's murder. GRAY STATE: THE RISE was released a mere 6 days after the bodies were discovered.
STAND NOW OR KNEEL FOREVER
What did David Crowley's prophetic future vision include?
In the tense, fearful aftermath of the sudden unexplained deaths of thousands of people across the globe, Daniel Nikkasi, a World History professor, unwillingly tables his contentious interest in alternative history theories in order to earn tenure and avoid scrutiny. Bullied into a state of uneasy compliance with an ever-growing police state bent on rooting out those thought responsible for the attacks, and threatened by the shrinking margins of acceptable social behavior, he wonders when Americans will recognize that the US has followed the rhythm of history into an overt tyranny.
Yet he is encouraged by the sudden reappearance of his former student, John (who is now wanted for domestic terrorism) and the emergence of a vast underground resistance movement committed to the second American Revolution, the reclamation of the Bill of Rights, and the restoration of liberty. Daniel commits himself to the resistance. Yet, as John warns, there are far greater, and far more evil forces at work. As national stability deteriorates to the sound of marching armies and buzzing drones, the resistance — and the hope that the world we have known can ever be reclaimed — crumbles. And still, the war drags on.
As the cities become locked into strangled militarized districts, citizens herded into massive detainment centers, and dissenters publicly executed for treason to the state, Daniel begins to doubt if spending his life for the resistance will matter — or if his death would even be the worst thing that could be done to him.
Should the revolution against the Gray State fail -- history will not remember the deeds of those who resisted.
Bio attacks which target right-wing extremists or red states. Vaccines. Surgical masks worn by people on buses sipping frappuccinos. People suddenly dropping dead or suddenly dying. People being quarantined to militarized districts. Rumors of concentration camps on American soil.
Long gas lines with 7 gallon maximums per customer. University demonstrations featuring pro-liberty and pro-socialist crowds divided by riot police. The use of robotic dogs for police control and surveillance.
Government lists specifically targeting white people and veterans. Everyone becoming a domestic terror suspect. Patriots going to jail without trial.
The implementation of martial law and lockdowns. The confiscation of guns and civilian owned weapons. Mass defections from the military and police. Patriots attempting to rally around the Constitution and defend liberty. National insurgency against federal forces. Dissident prisoner camps. Public executions and mass executions of those even suspected of dissenting against the state.

CHRIS CHARLES: Your latest film, Gray State, is currently in post production. The website doesn’t give a synopsis of the film, but it deals with subversive activities and surveillance, which are subjects at the forefront of many news stories these days. Can you tell me about the character you play in the movie?
KELLY BARRY-MILLER: I play a doctor and wife of a high-profile college professor, who is faced with the role of having to do things against her will, to satisfy the new world order and its systems of governing the people. The same system she once dutifully served is now turning on her, and there is no escape, or refuge. She is literally torn from her freedoms, and becomes an enemy of the State. It is a Movie Trailer which is sure to be shocking, yet really make people think about life as they know it, and what “could” happen. Director David Crowley has an intensity for filmmaking that it truly inspiring, and I was honored to be able to work with him on such a dynamic and mysterious project, with a fantastic cast/crew. The trailer should be coming out soon.
Some will read this and see nothing but a bleak desolate future with no possible way out. I write this with the purpose of giving hope. If Gray State is a choice — a decision — OUR decision, then it will be our choices today which will create our future.
In hope, I write to inspire you to fight back. Local action is where our biggest victories will be and has been achieved. These actions do not need to be violent. Most often these actions are simple — making a phone call, writing a letter, making your voice heard, not complying. So simple that everyone can have a place in this fight. Everyone can make a difference. People have no idea the power they possess. Together, we can stop this in its tracks.
Compliance is a choice. We can no longer afford to sit idly by and let national and world events pass us by.

The Gray State story is an effort to draw the human element out of the carnage of any number of the doomsday scenarios that our world faces, caused by the various despairing plagues of our times. This is the enduring nature of humanity — to find hope amongst the ruins. Through the turbulent, horrific, and often inspiring conflicts of man vs. man, people vs. state, and liberty vs. tyranny, there exists a deeper meaning to the essence of the human struggle — residing at the base of our being, and spelled out in terms of those who will rule over others through coercion... in the impossible belief that the act of our resistance may not die with our bodies, and the fruits of victory will be enjoyed... even is by someone else; someone who will carry on the hope — the red fire — of our better natures.
A single voice may be ignored. It could shout into the wind unheard. A million voices though? That cannot be ignored so easily. The cacophony would suddenly turn into a dangerous actions towards its target. The echo becomes chaotic and uncontrolled by the powers that be. In the blink of an eye, we have a whole army fighting for a free nation. We are many. They are few.
So I need to ask. Why are you in this movement? Is it for fame? Clicks? Likes? Money? Entertainment?
Or is it for something else? Is it because you dream of a better tomorrow, future, and world?

FILM AFTER DEATH
There is a bit of confusion regarding the GRAY STATE films. People claim to have seen David Crowley’s vision. The truth is… none of us have. We only have glimpses and small insights into it.
GRAY STATE was David Crowley's original vision and film. Scripts were written for this movie. Teaser trailers were produced. But the movie was never created and never released.
GRAY STATE: THE RISE was David Crowley's documentary that he was using to hype the upcoming GRAY STATE movie. This was released on January 23, 2015, just 6 days after the bodies of David Crowley and his family were discovered on January 17, in its uncut or rough cut version.
A GRAY STATE is a "2017 documentary film directed by Erik Nelson and executive produced by Werner Herzog, first broadcast on the A&E Network. It explores the death of aspiring filmmaker David Crowley and the murders of his wife and child in 2014. The film tells the story of Crowley's military service in the Middle East, his efforts to fund and make a film, and explores the circumstances surrounding the deaths."
