Will somebody please explain to me why.
We as a country have no problem sending the flower of our youth off to war in foreign lands yet refuse to rid ourselves of those in our midst who in their perversion attack our women, children and those who for one reason or another cannot defend themselves.
We have repeatedly sent the best of us to jump out of airplanes, helicopters and boats to storm fortified beaches and mountains, wade through swamps and jungles to die in their tens of thousands. Yet, we will not rid ourselves of the sick vermin who commit horrendous violations against us in our homes towns and cities. The attack on one is an attack on all. We fill our institutions with them, feed them, and then release them back onto the streets to attack again.
Why?
Rehabilitation comes from within. No amount of wishful thinking is going to turn a sick mind into a healthful human being.
We kill our innocents and protect our guilty. To what useful purpose?

Who is Wembley?
Wembley is the nom de plume for an older gentleman who loves history and politics, writes often, but is technology challenged. He wants so much for people to read what he writes. After many arguments over the subject, he doesn’t want to build a following or even have his own substack… even though he has much to say. He absolutely insists that I publish it for him.
So, he will write and I will publish. This is just a short essay he did and the first of many.
The older generations have so much to teach us.
Love it! We are losing our older generations rapidly…more rapidly than before. Life expectancy is plummeting. A society who denigrates the older generations and does not heed their learnings is doomed to repeat their mistakes and not learn from their successes.
We could answer this in a long write up but I don't believe that was the point. It's to make people think and see what has and is going on in this United States. I hope that all generations alive at this time Wake Up.
Thank you Lizzy, a good read and thank Wembley.
