Thoughts on Putin's Interview and Conspiracy Theories

On February 8, 2024, Vladimir Putin met with Tucker Carlson and had an interview. Putin made several references to the phrase "Golden Billion" during their 2 hour long conversation. This left several people perplexed as to what he meant. It should be noted that Putin has been using this term in his speeches for a few years now.

Here is the full interview for those who missed it.

The Golden Billion and Depopulation

I want to start off that this is a Russian conspiracy theory which closely mirrors many of our own conspiracy theories. It first appeared in the 1990's in a paper written by Anatoly Tsikunov (under the pen name A. Kuzmich) called The Plans of the Global Leadership for the Enslavement of Russia.

The idea behind the Golden Billion is that a cabal of global elites are pulling strings to amass wealth for the world's richest billion people at the expense of the rest of humanity. The rest of humanity becomes subjugated to this elite class... ruled and governed until its extinction.

This elite class isn't Judeo-Masons or the New World Order, although it sounds like they would be right at home with them. They lie somewhere in between these two. They are the globalists, the members of secret societies, and the Khazarian Mafia all rolled into one.

The end goal is, of course, to reduce the population. The chosen billion live in comfort and safety. The rest of the world lives in a dystopian nightmare that is part feudal system, part slavery, and part concentration camp. The end goal remains the same. Reduce the world population. The journey there, however, exploits the population for whatever labor and resources we can provide on our way to the grave. If you need real world examples of this, look at the western exploitation of African countries or the exploitation of Mexico and South America by the cartels.

For Russian President Vladimir Putin, a two-word phrase sums up the current state of world geopolitics: “golden billion.” Speaking this week in Moscow, Putin declared that the “model of total domination of the so-called golden billion is unfair. Why should this golden billion of all the population on the globe dominate over everyone and impose its own rules of behavior?”
The golden billion “divides the world into first- and second-class people and is therefore essentially racist and neocolonial,” Putin continued Wednesday, adding that “the underlying globalist and pseudo-liberal ideology is becoming increasingly more like totalitarianism and is restraining creative endeavor and free historical creation.”

The Golden Billion and Resources

The second part of the Golden Billion conspiracy theory deals with land usage, ownership, and resources.

We have all seen the statements made by so-called world leaders where they make bold declarations that the population will eat bugs, live in open air prisons called smart cities, and limit clothes purchases to 2 shirts a year. Resource consumption for the general population will be reduced... dramatically.

But for the Golden Billion, their land usage and resource consumption will increase. Basically, for these individuals, the sky is the limit and the world becomes their oyster.

It isn't that farfetched of an ideology either. We see the buying power behind our dollar decrease. The luxuries for the Mega Rich, on the other hand, have only become more ostentatious, over-the-top, and expansive.

We seeing an increasing overreach of governance and national policy given to people who were neither elected nor hold political power... or at least they shouldn't have power. It is the shift of global economic power and loss of national identity.

As the war in Ukraine approaches the nine-month mark, Western governments have repeatedly accused Russia of imperialist expansionism, nuclear blackmail, weaponizing food, energy and winter — and a host of other hostilities that put the welfare of millions at risk.
Yet there's an increasingly common counternarrative in Moscow that argues it is the West instead that intends to subject the masses to misery.
Welcome to the "golden billion."
An idea that first emerged in the twilight years of the Soviet Union, the golden billion is a conspiracy theory that posits a cabal of 1 billion global elites seeks to hoard the world's wealth and resources, leaving the rest of the planet to suffer and starve.

The Golden Billion and Destabilization

The final part of the Golden Billion conspiracy theory is one of immigration. Destabilizing native populations by using a huge influx of migrants to do so and in the process destroy national identity. The locations of this mass migration become hotbeds — boiling points of pressure. It creates areas where resources and housing become scarce while driving up social unrest, crime, and general degeneracy.

It also replaces the workforce. You can drive the current workforce to breaking and have a ready-made population to replace them.

Also, in doing so, you weaken the local government. This is done in order to give the Golden Billion a platform to more easily control the population and basically drive them into their version of a dystopian nightmare. The main idea, after all, is that they really do want to kill you. They just don't want to dirty up their hands and don't mind taking their time in order to get this done.
