I'd never heard of the red car theory. But you're right. The opportunities I tend to be focused on are opportunities to pray for people. Whether for physical healing or just whatever needs a person has in life. People seem very willing, for the most part, to receive prayer whenever I ask them. Everyone needs prayer for something or someone in their life, and it's a simple gift to give. I offer it as one way to make a difference in a person's life.

This is an amazing way to walk through the world. And since you are looking... Will you pray for me? I would greatly appreciate it.

Yes, I most certainly will. Let me know if there is something in particular you want me to pray into.

I don't know what to ask for without going into it. Just that issues find quick resolutions. Level heads. Good hearts.

As a medic I would have done what you did because that is what I am programmed to do over so many years, we have a good samaritan act in most all states that protect us. The problem is we need Tort reform. So many have been sued for helping that people do not want to get involved. Even EMS is sued and we had to keep malpractice insurance to protect our livelihood. Our country has promoted this behavior. We need to get back to just helping each other without the fear of being sued or jailed. It's just like the Guy in the subway saving the people from harm. Evil has taken over, let us hope we can bring back the good in mankind. Pray for God to intercede and fill our hearts with Love.

Good post! It reminds me of one of my professors in college. Interestingly , it was an art class. The discussion revolved around paying attention to the world around you so that you could translate what you observed into your art. When queried, everyone in the class stated they were very observant. The following day, when the class started, the teacher had a pop quiz. There was one “question” on the quiz - describe in detail the hallway we just used to get to the class. Once the papers were turned in, she read the answers out and then the class went out into the hall to see how well we fared. It wasn’t even close! And this was way before people’s noses were stuck to their phones! A week later, after the artwork was changed out, she did another exact pop quiz & the results were very different!

Exactly this. It is interesting to see how people actually change their worldview when they are forced to see their worldview for themselves. We need more teachers like that.

Yeah. It really is just an analogy for our level of awareness and what we focus on.
