It's been years since I had to do research papers in college, in a library, with a card catalog, well before this thingy called the internet. I really appreciate this great list of resources!
I've been using Startpage for my search engine. Love your list!
For medical, I like Journal of American Medical Association (JAMA) and New England Journal of Medicine since these are actual doctors trade magazines and websites. WebMD is good for basics for setup. I also kept my Anatomy & Physiology textbook from college. I did medical digs in college for research papers before I became a CPA. Journal of Accountancy and AGA Topics were my trade magazines, but I had to pay for them. I no longer receive them now that I am retired.
This set of tools is exactly what I have been wishing I had available. Thank you!
Something possibly worth integrating: In Causal Analysis, a method often used is the "Five Whys": I find this is easiest done on a blank sheet of paper to begin with.
In the center of the page, write an initial problem statement: what happened/is happening that does not match expectations? Do not include any "because" info, just the raw statement. For example: "The airplane hit the ground at an unacceptable speed". Then, in mind-map format, on branches from the central statement, write every first-order cause. Keep each one very basic: "the aircraft reached zero altitude at flight speed", for example, then, for each of these first-order causes (whys), find all the second-order causes, ex: "the ground was too high", "the pilot did not see the ground", and on, until you have five causes deep on every initial branch, thus, "Five Whys". Keep each new branch very simple in progression, even if it feels like you are insulting your own intelligence, and especially if you have already had a "Eureka!" moment and think you have the answer. Stick to the process. You just might find bonuses you did not expect. As you research, document links, references, organizational charts, information or material flow maps, etc. Once you are five whys deep everywhere, then add more depth to those branches which you feel have more to provide. Add as many levels of "Why?" as you feel are needed.
This process ensures that, by the time you have all avenues investigated, you:
a) Have a good grasp of the complexities of the problem.
b) Have plenty of notes and links to remind yourself of why you reached the conclusions which you reached, in the far future, when someone challenges you on your position.
c) Have a map of every "failure mode" which can be addressed with corrective action. Often, failure occurs because gaps in the defenses against the failure aligned in several categories. For example, you may have an inept or even corrupt election worker, but they can't damage the outcome unless security/engineering flaws exist in the system and their oversight fails as well.
There is, of course, a more "military" way of addressing all of this: mapping the causes of the opfor's success in an operation shows you what points in their infrastructure will yield you the greatest success for the least energy expended. By running an operation, they necessarily have to expose some of this information in order to execute their strategy. Just be aware that they will be performing after-action reviews of their own operations as well, and will be addressing many of the same weaknesses, especially if they become aware of an organized plan to disrupt future operations of that kind. Rank your discovered weak points by a) How difficult to correct/defend they are for the opfor, and b) How risk-free/low-effort they are to attack.
Group B targets are the ones you scatter-shot at constantly as a diversion, with minimal time and effort on your part, being careful not to place yourself at risk, as they are not worth it. It is like the opening skirmishes of a major battle. If the other side is disorganized, their system will crumble. If not, you might just convince your opponent that you are, in fact, stupid, and easily predicted. Group A targets, especially if they rank high in both A and B, are the ones you develop a solid plan against and mount a sudden assault on, keeping your preparations as covert as possible, as one must assume that one's opponent is more familiar with their home terrain and able to prepare a defense you know nothing about if they have warning. This language all sounds very physically violent, but in information warfare, that is not generally the case. A group B target may be front-line leaders potentially harboring doubts about the ethics of their recent decisions and worried about being thrown in front of the next legal bus, vulnerable to constantly being called out on X for their involvement in something unethical, while a group A target could be a method of narrative shaping that is wholly reliant on a vulnerable piece of legislation for its existence.
I thought the site had truncated my original message and lost half of what I wrote, so I rewrote that section below. I guess I'll leave it here in case a rewording is helpful:
Turning this into a statement on information warfare, you have now analyzed the opfor's operation, how it worked, what it is motivated by, etc. Basically, its internal substructure. You now have a list of "weak spots" in their operation to be "attacked" in the future. On the flip side, if they are competent, and you must assume they are, they will undoubtedly hold after action reviews to determine these weaknesses themselves and address them.
The key then, is to rank the weak spots by A) How hard are they to correct for the opfor? and B) How easy, ie, risk-free and low-effort on your part, are they to "attack"?
Attacking Group B targets is like the skirmish before a battle: only take shots against them that place you at no personal risk. An example of a Group B target might be, after thorough investigation on your part, front-line leadership who are concerned about the ethics of their recent actions and worried about being thrown in front of the next legal bus. Constant calling out and asking awkward questions on social media of these leaders takes little effort or exposure on your part (Do not perjure yourself or make legal accusations you cannot backup in court! Better yet, avoid direct accusation altogether as they are Group B targets not worth expending that much energy on.) Most organizations, corrupt or no, are unappreciative of just how much disruption loss or defection of front-line leadership can cause.
Attacking a Group A target is like the main assault after weakening, distraction and de-coordination by the skirmishing. An example could be running a campaign to remove/pass legislation on which a form of narrative shaping depends utterly. For example, a major news organization, after suffering major internal turmoil from once-solid anchors resigning out of fear and/or disgust, might have their legal team tied up in a dozen lawsuits from employees when legislation is suddenly pushed by a PAC that will make their way of influencing the public illegal, and only second-string news anchors with no name recognition to try and push negative stories about the legislation.
The examples above are just hypothetical examples, not a recommendation for specific action. Do your own analysis and find real targets. And remember, violence is always a fail state in information warfare. If you find yourself planning a literal physically violent action, you have already lost. Better to walk away from the war than go physical.
Perhaps. I'd have to start a new account, as it isn't really in my current account's "lane" except indirectly. My current account is a product of a causal analysis, so it is related in that way: I am seeking to flesh out our God-given rights as found in the Bible, as it seems a large part of the lack of backbone in mankind these days is the lack of a basic understanding of where and how God contractually wrote out the rights we claim he gave us.
Now if I could quiet my bipolar mind, I might be able to actually start writing again. I was doing pretty well writing got halfway through my novel, but got caught in a writers block.
I wish more would dive in because it makes what they discover from Your Discovery (and others) that much more personally discerning...and interesting. Something no
narrative push or Fake Fact Checkers can take from you.
I was going to get to that. I'm a bit messier than some. Seriously. I use a notebook and post-its. This all gets sorted as I start building an outline of major points. I never end up with my original outline by the way. It gets changed... sometimes a lot.
You might decide on software or even a word document.
This is fantastic Dove. Mad respect for what you do. I’m going to be very interested when you discuss how to use the Way Back Machine. I’ve tried before with no luck.
WOW Doll, that's a TON of information. There's so many of these sites / resources I've not heard of until today. This opens up such a door of opportunity for each of us. One thing I've learned from being awake is that I don't take information at face-value anymore. The information that you present to us can be confirmed because you walk-the-walk and cite your sources. But not everyone does that. And, without having anywhere near the resources that you've just BLESSED us with, it was difficult a lot of times for me to verify the information that others shared. If I couldn't verify it, I didn't share it. I read all of it. Watch the videos. Review the comments. But I don't always pass that information along because I don't know that it's factual. I never want to be one of those people who passes along untruthful information to others. I just don't see that as being helpful to wake others up. Now, I'll feel more comfortable being able to verify information and that'll make me better at sharing that same information. It will also help me dig further into it all. I hope you truly know what an absolute gift you are to us all and to this movement. I hope our Heavenly Father Blesses you beyond your wildest imagination!!!

Fantastic info! Thats a full toolbox of digging tools! Feel like I finished a mini college course. Thank you!
Thank you! Hopefully you find something in there that helps you on your way.
Such a fantastic place to start!

Awesome! Like I said... people will come up with their own style or niche. Their resources should eventually reflect this.
My interests aren't exactly theirs and vice versa. Nor should they be.
This set of tools is exactly what I have been wishing I had available. Thank you!

You should really put all this in a substack. This is good.

This is perfect, seems this was written just for me Lizzy Thank you.
You are welcome. 😊

Yeah. You seriously could spend years in what I've given out... and never come up.
Just for air and snacks 😁
