Looking over the website, I get the definitive answer that they are not part of the global media industry and the timing of these leaks, as well as the background and experience of the board members appears to indicate an independent streak. I could be wrong, but the data revealed and the articles (and timing) also suggest this group is working worldwide to expose the corruption of the global and political elites.
